PROJECT OUTLINE TOOL: 

The project outline and play list editor 

is a split screen command center used 

to locate files on your computer and insert 

them into the heading play list.  Each heading

may be edited changing heading names, level 

and include a heading graphic and editable 

heading text.

PLAYLIST:  

The play list may be edited and saved to a 

project file prior to rendering a book to audio.

PREFERANCES: 

Includes text to speech voice selection 

SAPI 5.1, Voice speed and pitch, user 

interface font size, text color background 

color.

LAUNCHABLE APPLICATIONS:  

A short cut button and hot-key is included to 

launch either the word processor or eClipseReader 

directly from the play list control panel.  

eClipseReader and other DAISY players may be 

used to proofread your DAISY book creation after 

the Build Process completes rending.

TALKING WORD PROCESSOR: 

Is launched directly from the project outline tool.  

It is compatible with MS WORD, TEXT, RTF 

and HTML.

BUILD BOOK:  

The build book function is automated and displays 

messages announcing the steps in the rending 

process by heading number:  eClipseWriter renders 

text to audio using synthetic speech at average rate 

of 1 page every 5 seconds.  A 350 page document 

will render in about ½ hour.  This rate varies 

depending on CPU speed and the number of audio 

and graphic files in you DAISY project.
