eClipseReader is the most advanced daisy book reader available.

This technology enables print disabled persons to play talking books with the added benefit of chapter, page, heading and phrase level navigation. It's as easy as 1-2-3!
 
1.  Load Word Documents, Rich Text Files, HTML pages, Clear text files, Wave files, MP3 files, WMA files, ASF Files, Graphics, ShockWave animation, etc. into the Book Outline.
2.  Set the Heading level details, the Heading play order and the Book level information.
3.  Select Build Book!
 
That's it...  Pre-recorded Audio, Text to Audio, Six level Heading navigation, Page and Phrase navigation!

PROJECT OUTLINE TOOL: The project outline

and play list editor is a split screen command

center used to locate files on your computer and

insert them into the heading play list.  Each heading

may be edited changing heading names, level and

include a heading graphic and editable heading text.

PLAYLIST:  The play list may be edited and saved

to a project file prior to rendering a book to audio.

PREFERENCES: Includes text to speech voice

selection SAPI 5.1, Voice speed and pitch,

user interface font size, text color background color,

LAUNCHABLE APPLICATIONS:  A short cut

button and hot-key is included to launch either

the word processor or eClipseReader directly

from the play list control panel.  eClipseReader

and other DAISY players may be used to

proofread your DAISY book creation after the

Build Process completes rendering.

TALKING WORD PROCESSOR: Is launched

directly from the project outline tool.  It is

compatible with MS WORD, TEXT, RTF and

HTML.

BUILD BOOK:  The build book function is

automated and displays messages announcing the

steps in the rendering process by heading number: 

eClipseWriter renders text to audio using synthetic

speech at average rate of 1 page every 5 seconds.

A 350 page document will render in about ½ hour.

This rate varies depending on CPU speed and the

number of audio and graphic files in your DAISY

project.

BASIC NAVIGATION: Use four arrow keys to select navigation mode: Chapter, All Headings, Page or phrase or use the color-coded tool bars.

ADVANCE NAVIGATION: Select navigation mode by hot-keys.

VOLUME and SPEED CONTROLS:  Selectable via hot key or tool bar.

BOOKS LIBRARY: Stores and recall the locations books and text documents as list.

BOOKMARKS:  Stores unlimited bookmarks by number or user defined name. Bookmarks may be viewed and used as navigation points for later review.

TEXT NOTES: Each bookmark may contain user defined text notes

MULTI-USER MODE: Password protect multi-user mode saves each users books library, bookmarks, text notes, visual and audio preferences.

CONFIGURABLE USER INTERFACE: Hide and

show tool bar, command center, change user interface

font size..

TEXT NAVIGATION: Navigate text documents via hot-key or graphic button. Modes include: line, word, paragraph, screen.

FIND TEXT: search a text document for a word or phrase.

SPELL WORD: Via hot-key or graphic button.

EXPORT NOTES: Export your text notes to MS Note PAD, ready to print, save or translate to Braille.

WHERE AM I:  eClipseReader announces your reading position by line number of total lines in a text document.
